CORPORATION:
Forest Non-Profit Seniors Housing is a non-profit organization with a Board of Directors made up of
representatives of the Forest and area community.
The spark for this extraordinary community based housing project came from the initiative of members of the
Forest community who originated the idea of creating a seniors housing project using the knowledge and
resources of the community. The goal of the organization is to create a housing campus called Townsend
Meadows with a range of housing types that would give local seniors housing options when they no longer want
the maintenance issues of a single family home. From that strategic planning group a formal corporation was
formed.
When Townsend Meadows is completed and fully occupied, the project will be operated by a Board of Directors
made up of representatives from the community and from the leaseholders living in the development. Forest
Non-Profit Seniors Housing is committed to ensuring that the complex will always be managed with the highest
standards of maintenance and care.
LOCATION:
Townsend Meadows is located in northwest Forest just minutes from the unique shops and services of the
village.
