New Owner Moves in to Townsend Meadows

Doris King has just moved into unit 14 this past week and we welcome her to Townsend Meadows! Doris has lived in the Forest area most of her life, so she is very familiar with the Town and all it has to offer. The Thedford unit that she moved into has over 1300 sq. ft. of living area, so there should be lots of room for her.

Move in Day for Lois Telfer

Lois had lots of help with her moving today, with family and friends there to escort her into Unit 15. The new appliances and cabinets sure looked good, as Lois was quite happy to be moving into this Development. We are sure she will like the new neighbours as well and we wish her good luck here at Townsend Meadows!

Thedford Units Now available

The Block of Units 12 - 15 are now almost ready for occupancy, with the lane ways finished and the brick completed, they are now installing the cabinets and flooring. The weather has co-operated this fall and has allowed us to put in the sod around these units, so it will not be so messy! The Thedford units on lot 12 and 13 are almost finished and waiting to have their lane ways concreted. These units are 1322 square feet in size and have 2 bedrooms and 2 full baths plus the attached Garage. The units will have 5 new appliances, in-floor heating and air conditioning. The Open House was well attended by interested buyers as well as our local Member of Parliament, Bev Shipley, who took time out from his busy schedule to be at Townsend Meadows for our Grand Opening!

New Director on Forest Non-Profit Seniors Housing Board

Welcome to Sandy Weaver, our newest Director for the Townsend Meadows Project. Sandy was elected by the "Residents of Townsend Meadows", to be their representative on the Board of Directors, at a recent Residents Meeting on Oct. the 7th. Sandy had contacted most of the Residents, asking them if they had any concerns and brought these to the Oct. 14th Board of Directors meeting at which time they were addressed. The "Residents Roles and Responsibilities" paper was discussed and will be presented to the residents soon.

Grand Opening was Grand!

The Grand Opening at Townsend Meadows on Sat Sept. the 19th went great. The weather was perfect, the press was there and the dignitaries came. Lots of interest in the project and we are hoping there will be some new sales as well!

Just in time for the Forest Fair, the Grand Opening will be on Sat. Sept 19th at 2 o'clock with Open house from 1-3. There will be an open house on Sun. the 20th from 1-3 as well. We are hoping to see you there.

We are Starting Another Block of Units

Units 12 to 15 are now going up! This will be the 3rd block of 4 units, and with the better weather that we are now having these should be ready by November. There are 2 Thedford models that are availible, one an end unit in this block and we are hoping with the upcoming open house on Sept 19th and 20th, that these units will be sold as well.

The Brick Looks Great

The units really turned out well and the quality of the construction is seen everywhere you look from the brick to the walkways, the cabinets to the bathrooms CVH Quality Construction out of Forest, did a fantastic job.

Ann has Moved in!

Some owners have moved in and Ann Vanos was greated by her daughter and her grand daughter, who came all the way from Florida to help her move into her new unit. Three generations of girls got everything moved in, in short order!

The Kitchens Look Great!

Units are Finished!

Townsend Meadows is finally ready for the new owners to move into! Everyone is really excited that the units are completed and some of the new owners have started to move in. The streets are paved, the lawns are mowed and they look great!

Moving in has started!

The first units are ready for move in and construction is progressing along. We are hoping to have a Real Estate agents open house at the units on Thursday July the 9th. Open houses for the public should be soon after, as the contractor wants to complete unit #9 for the Open House. Come and see the progress on the units. They look great.
